Carlson Hotels Opens Country Inn & Suites in Ithaca, N.Y.

Minneapolis-based Carlson Hotels Worldwide announced the opening of its newest Country Inn & Suites hotel in Ithaca, N.Y., located at 1100 Danby Rd. The 58-room hotel features an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness facility, a 100-person meeting space, a lending library, wireless Internet and flatscreen televisions. The new hotel design includes dark wood blends, hardwood floors, a lobby fireplace and a front porch. Carlson Hotels operates 950 properties in 70 countries under the Country Inn & Suites, Regent, Radisson, Park Plaza and Park Inn brands.
