BJ's Opens New Restaurant in Greenwood, Ind.

Huntington Beach, Calif.-based BJ's Restaurants Inc. announced the opening of its newest restaurant in Greenwood, Ind., located in the Greenwood Park Mall. The 8,500-sq.-ft. restaurant features seating for 275, the full BJ's pizza menu, handcrafted beer and flatscreen televisions. "Our Greenwood restaurant represents our fourth new restaurant opening so far this year," said Jerry Deitchle, president and CEO of BJ's Restaurants. "We continue to remain on track to open as many as 15 new restaurants during 2008 and thereby increase our total restaurant operating weeks by 20 percent to 25 percent during the year. Our next two restaurant openings are currently scheduled for the month of June in Baton Rouge, La., and Torrance, Calif." The company operates 71 locations throughout the United States.
