GlobalShop Team Previews McCormick Place West Hall

Recently, several members of the GlobalShop show management team joined representatives of POPAI and NASFM for a tour of the in-progress McCormick Place West Hall. Their hardhat tour included a sneak peek of the entire building, and allowed the team to map out event details for GlobalShop 2008. According to Tim Fearney, GlobalShop Show Director, The new hall exceeds all of our expectations. Having become very familiar with the floor plan on paper, I can tell you that I was impressed to see the hall in person. The photos don't do this beautiful building justice. The architecture and movement through the space will only enhance your experience at the event. We can't wait to open GlobalShop 2008 in the newest convention facility in the country. The atrium between the two show floors is very open, highlighted by a mezzanine level balcony where attendees and exhibitors can meet while still keeping tabs on activity around the show. The conference rooms are large and comfortable, and everything in the building is easy to find. On the show floor, the terrace level food court is a great place to grab a bite to eat while you stand at the rail and look over the entire show. From the 30 high vantage point, you see everything.We look forward to showing you everything new in Chicago at GlobalShop 2008, March 19th 21st at McCormick Place West.
