Polo Ralph Lauren Promotes New President, COO

New York-based Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. announced the promotion of Wayne Meichner to president and COO of Polo Retail Group, effective immediately, following the retirement of Jeff Sherman. Meichner's responsibilities include management and development of Polo Ralph Lauren's domestic retail concepts and management of Polo Ralph Lauren's domestic retail stores. Meichner began working with Polo Ralph Lauren in 2002 after his 23-year career at Saks Fifth Avenue. Also effective immediately, Susie Coulter was promoted to president of Polo Ralph Lauren Retail Stores. She reports to Meichner in her new position.
